Ms. Sullivan is one of the firm’s senior partners and leads the Employment Law Group. She has been recognized as one of the best lawyers in America for Employment Law, Management and Employee. She has been voted Super Lawyer for more than a decade. She represents employers across the full spectrum of labor and personnel issues, including ERISA claims, Fair Labor Standards Act grievances, discrimination actions, sexual harassment and wrongful discharge litigation. She has successfully concluded several collective actions under the FLSA.

  • Serves as a member of the City of Norfolk’s Grievance Board.
  • Serves as an Administrative Hearing Officer for the Supreme Court of Virginia.
  • Participates in numerous dispute arbitrations and has served as an arbitrator and mediator
  • Frequent speaker on employment issues before local and regional audiences.
  • Adjunct Faculty University of Virginia, Continuing Education Programs
  • Serves on Civil Service Commission for Norfolk
  • Serves as Board Member for the Muse Writers Center
